Government policy stresses the importance of securing pre-application advice from your local council before submitting a planning application.

This won’t always be necessary for small projects, or where the planning policies for the type of development are very clear, and we will only recommend it where there is a clear business case.

A good pre-application response from a council will rely on a good submission and we can make sure that the appropriate information for the type of project is submitted at this stage, and that the right questions are asked so that it will add value to the project.
